An introduction to some of the last craftspeople in Singapore. We visited artisans of bird cages, incense, lion heads for lion dances, lanterns and papercraft. The pervasive feeling throughout was one of wistfulness; a touch of regret that they work in dying trades which are no longer required as a result of technology and automation and prices driven down by exports from China.
