A Trip to Egypt

Did I take photographs of the Sphinx? Or Luxor? Likely. But the picture I enjoy the most from my time in Egypt is the one of the “Claridge Hotel”. We stayed in a pensione which had a rickety elevator (the ones with gates for doors) and I shared a large room with five other women. I remember being disappointed by the pyramids and surprised by how much I enjoyed sailing down the Nile in a fallujah. A woman baked bread for us in the desert, we went to visit University House Alexandria Library, and yes, I was made to sit on camel. The drivers are mad.
